The Shawn Regruto Cinematic Foundation is a forthcoming 501(c)(3) non-profit whose fundamental mission is to nurture filmmaking and community in the spirit and values embodied by filmmaker Shawn Regruto. 

Shawn’s legacy is witnessed in the films and filmmakers he supported with his artistry, craft, and vision. Shawn’s mentorship and love of creative process and community is alive in Writers Group New York, which he founded.

This foundation is committed to supporting artistic and professional growth and celebrating the voices, vision, and potential of storytellers in New York City for years to come.
